Macchie rosse sul palato

Buonasera Professore, mio padre 74 anni presenta da una settimana circa queste macchie rosse sul palato. Apparentemente non sanguinano però ha fastidio alla masticazione e non.

esclude assunzione di cibi caldi. 

di cosa potrebbe trattarsi? Grazie
