I noticed some enlarged-looking hair follicles near the base of my pubic hair. Is this just normal and not a virus? They are not hard to touch and seem elastic. Each one is consistently attached right next to a hair follicle. My last sexual encounter was 13 months ago.
An online doctor took a quick look at my photo and immediately diagnosed it as Bowenoid papulosis, urging me to start treatment. However, I search it with Google, and it doesn’t seem to match my symptoms at all.
I would love to get your opinions. Could this just be a sebaceous gland issue (like Fordyce spots) rather than a viral infection?
