I have some cracks on the head of my penis. What could be causing them? Could you please tell me what they might be and whether the skin will heal back to normal tecture? I am scared and kindly request a response.

Dryness of the glans is usually due to excessive washing and use of detergents, washed with only warm water.

Will this heal on its own? What should I do to help the cracking on the glans heal and how long should I wait before seeing a doctor?
